⚠️ Important notice:
The sea in front of our hotel can sometimes be rough, with strong underwater currents. Always check with our staff before swimming and look out for red flags.
From December to April, the ocean is usually at its calmest, making it the best season for swimming here in Hikkaduwa.
If you prefer gentler waves, head to Hikkaduwa North (Coral Beach / Turtle Beach), just a 5-minute tuk-tuk ride or a nice walk along the beach from us. This is one of the most swim-friendly beach destinations in all of Sri Lanka.
